When i returned from Villa Söderåsen, in the Söderåsen National Park, near Malmö in Southern Sweden, where I had been painting and collaborating for five beautiful days, I laid out the painting, glorious relief (see the other painting in this series of two), that I had brought home with me, on the floor of my atelier, ready to be stretched onto a new frame. Above it hung this painting that I had purposely left unfinished, so I wouldn't have to come home to an empty canvas.

My first thought upon seeing them together was –"these two are siblings", and the pair became glorious relief, and her moody older sister.
